Why we need Big Yellow Friday

Childhood liver disease, the facts…

  • Today and every day, at least two children will be diagnosed with a liver disease
  • Liver disease affects more children than childhood leukaemia
  • Childhood liver disease means a lifetime of care

CLDF picks up the pieces and makes a real difference:

  • CLDF responds immediately to a family’s first needs for information, advice and support
  • CLDF helps families to adjust to life with liver disease – in person, by phone or online
  • CLDF provides the opportunity to meet other families
  • CLDF informs and supports friends & relatives
  • CLDF provides a tailored young persons programme
  • CLDF manages a research programme
  • CLDF creates awareness of childhood liver disease

Over 75% of CLDF’s annual income comes from donations. Please help us to continue to give hope and support to families by joining in on Big Yellow Friday on 2 March 2012.
